Abstract
Twelve patients with locally advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma were enrolled to evaluate the safety and efficacy of concurrent chemo-radiotherapy. Dose-limiting toxicity was mainly observed at Capecitabine 1500mg. The maximum-tolerated dose/recommended dose of Capecitabine was 1000mg. The Kaplan–Meier estimated overall l-year survival rate was 100%.
